Dave Silcox & Matt Nash – Change My World

Until more recently, the realms of vocal House music where a sanctuary undisturbed by careless mainstream commodities. But in an age where R&B singers can be found verbally desecrating the genre, there have been some positive hints at a strong resurgence heartfelt Progressive assets well in sync with the original energy and enthusiasm.

Dave Silcox and Matt Nash may be two of Britain’s lesser known club assets, but the London based producers have already raised the bar with successive releases on their own two feet. Joining together for ‘Change My World’, a formdiable top line from Chris Warne is accompanied by back-to-basics club fuel with an overtly emotive twist.

Paced against the extended output of middle of the road releases dominating the Beatport charts, this strong southern ensemble of divine lead play and consistent surging energy beckons two rather pivotal questions: the first being why such simple sanctity has become so rare in modern Dance music and the second being when these boys will gain the spotlight they well and truly deserve. ‘Change My World’, then, could just be that self-fulfilling breakthrough for this curse shifting stronghold in British House music.
