Sander Van Doorn feat. Mayaeni – Nothing Inside

In the same vein as so many of his Dutch peers, Sander Van Doorn has firmly exceeded the realms of straight Trance only to innovate at every corner imaginable. Now a live asset of gargantuan properties with a fortitude of global admirers, the affirmative studio work that has followed full-length debut ‘Supernaturalistic’ has been nothing short of spectacular.

But following on from last years standard setting album ‘Elev11n’, Sander’s follow-up to ‘Chasing’ for his Doorn Records imprint embraces the trending genre amalgamations that have come to characterise modern Dance music. Joined by Detroit songstress and divergent genre enthusiast Mayaeni, the heartrending top line that cloaks ‘Nothing Inside’ is the perfect accompaniment to one of the Dutch visionary’s most epic scores to date.

Transitioning from anthemic instrumental flares to delicate melodic progressions, there is a multiplexing property to ‘Nothing Inside’ that beckons close attention from the larger-than-life festival crowds right through to the intimate global clubs that Sander has continued to frequent. With the strong emotive properties of a club-induced Adele track and uniquely tailored shot of a adrenaline that has lacked within so many vocal Dance tracks this year, Sander retains his seat on the throne of eclectic Dutch visionaries with another nod to the promising future of his craft. In an age where the attention is getting dangerously close for some people, quality cuts such as this should leave the majority rest assured that music for the masses can still retain some unfathomable soul.
