Jason Chance & My Digital Enemy feat. Yasmeen – Whatever May Come

Right in time for the impending season of sun kissed club nights and not so early-rises, familiar British outfit My Digital Enemy and Surrey’s Jason Chance unite to give European House music a well-deserved wake-up with ‘Whatever May Come’ for Urbana Recordings.

Having taken Stealth Records on their own merits and injected countless spots of positivity into the British House scene, their debut venture for Urbana ushers in a very special vocal spot from Defected’s familiar soulful songstress Yasmeen Sulieman. Balancing stern tribalesque rhythmic alongside an effortlessly seductive top line from Yasmeen, this triple threat studio get up sink a display of lucid leads and exotic chords into an affirmatively sun kissed anthem substance floor-filling properties. As easy on the ears as the sunset cloaked canvas of Ibiza is to the soul, there is a therapeutic property to this British instalment that implores great confidence that in the thorough-bred champions still representing the UKs far from ideally climatized shores.

Accompanied by a firm remix from the Urbana master and frequent Defected flyer himself David Penn, the Madrid based studio wiz uses his own sturdy take of solid beats and subtle leads to ornament what looks to be an essential instalment where straight-up House etiquette is concerned.

‘Whatever May Come’ is out May 17 on Urbana Recordings.
