Having laced 2012 with a host of well-endowed Electro cuts, Mexican fuzz evangelist Digital Freq steps promptly back up to the mark for the aptly ferocious ‘Ceberus’ for Bug-Eyed Records.

Marking his second visit to the label in one month, Miguel Zavala deals in a distinctly different wave of heavy-set floor fuel. Ditching the more classically attributed guise of sharp leads and vocoded riffs, the dark and gritty undertone to ‘Ceberus’ makes for the rising producers most daring outing to date.

Once you get past the stunning change in soundscope, Zavala’s unremitting energy and copiously fierce chord play establishes yet another solid retreat from Electro House’s more oversubscribed avenues to a realm pure in industrious spirit, but coarse in aural property.
