Bedrock Records have extended celebrations of their 100th release with a jaw dropping remix package from some familiar club floor favorites.
As 2011 began to slip into the final cold winter nights, Bedrock unleashed a Decennial celebration to remember in the form of Bedrock 100, summing up the years of adoration and respect John Digweed’s renowned imprint has accumulated as well as the arsenal of incredible releases it has collected along the way.
Following their landmark release from Henry Saiz and Bedrock album-smith Guy J, superstar Swedish House master Erick Prydz lends his progressive hands under his highly renowned Pryda moniker for an intensive remix of release A-Side ‘Meridian’, giving the original collaboration and uplifting and somewhat anthemic remake in celebration of the labels notable success.
Saiz’s ‘La Marea’ recieves a remode from none other than Catalan DJ/Producer Marc Dosem, dealing in dreamy melodics and enchanting chord progressions for a very worthy addition to the fesivities at camp Bedrock.
Few labels will deny that the climate surrounding modern Dance music is a tough one, but this remix package acts as the ultimate reminder than where forward thinking Dance music is concerned, there will always be success, celebration and apparently an incredible remix package of diverse measures.
